The Flak blaster is an upgraded shotgun. Each blast of flak does similar damage to the standard shotgun and has a tighter firing cone. Flak shards move slower than pellets and will bounce repeatedly off walls, and the rebound effect can let you occasionally score fancy kills around obstacles or empty a room without exposing yourself to danger. The upgrade thus improves your weapon's versatility more than its damage output.

- The reflected flak will occasionally sting, but it does not do any real damage.
